HC Hall of fame?
I think there should be a HC hall of fame, when a good post is retired or locked up(eg. More fun than a Root canal, Once Apon a Time) it should be put in a seperate board for all to see, instead of having to browse through garbage to look for the good threads. Also In the background of the Board shouldnt be plain white, but With the avatars of 'Hall of famer users' which would be people with 4 yellow stars or up(mods dont count unless they had 4 yellow stars b4 they were mods)
What do you think?

Hmmmmmmmmm not a bad Idea, perhaps we could add some of the relevant threads that deal with some noob issues so they wouldn't have to hunt for them as well? Or is that part of what you meant?

So this would be kind of like a better version of a table of contents. I like it!
Those tables always have to be updated and someone has to bring it back to the top everyday.

Ya i like the idea too.
And concerning "n00b start up" threads there are plenty of them already...just look it up.
And i also expect a place in this HC hall of fame, as all time top poster off course

Why yellow stars? It's easy to have 4 yeller stars! Put red instead (wow, a neat rhyme!). There'll be less hall_of_famers, and we don't want dozens of them, do we?

I see it as too much work. We have the thread ratings system. It could also provoke a bit of extra discrimination and lead to detereoration of quality in the tavern. When you create a positive on the polarity, negative will emerge. As lith said for every HOF, there's HOS.

I don't see it as a tension between members. Care to elaborate a bit, Kitten?
Most of the boards I'm frequent have that kind of forums, and most are also called Hall of Fame...and ofcourse there are Halls of Shame(Lame) too, helping people to see what kind of threads are not welcomed...
Anyway I think it's a good idea...make forum read-only and put only closed threads in it...

OK for example: Say I get a post in the top 5 and someone can't stand the post, then there will most likely be an argument or some type of flamming about the post and the person. That make sence?
