The weird, crazy or idiotic fight in HOMM 3!
i was playing a map (dont ask me witch map) i had 20 halberdies 1 archers and another 20 halberdies and 10 archers i fought with a comp. with the same just 10 archers instead of one....... and belive it or not i WON!!!!
do u have experianced any wierd, crazy, idiotic, bad or good fights in HOMM tell me!!

Weird you say?
My best fight ever was when I had a dragon army: azure, faerie, crystal, black, gold, rust dragons, and just for filling some archangels. I was playing Viking we shall go. I had this army I think in week 2 month 4. Guess what? I won.

hmmmm all these kind of dragons in HOMM 3?!?!?!
well anyways i dident really get it u had azure, faerie, crystal, black, gold, rust dragons and ur proud of having won over some archangels?!!??!

No, the archangels were just for filling. As there are only six types of dragons, I had to fill the empty slot of the hero with something. When I say I won, I ment I won the scenario.

Perji, you forgot Ghost Dragon...and on that map you had plenty of necros...so you can make an army only out of dragons...but i shudder to think about the morale of that army...

I had only one Gnoll Marauder in my Fortress town. An enemy hero attacked me. He had 182 Gnoll Marauders. I had nothing except the two turrets. I waited till he broke the walls (and the archers in the turrets kiled many of his Gnoll Marauders). Then what? He was very near. And then I had high Morale and was able to go far enough from him. Then again he came nearer and I again received high Morale. And before he could reach me again... he was killed by my archers in the turrets!
How many times have you defeated someone with 182 times bigger army than you?

Conn morale was exactly why I took the archangels and not the Ghost Dragons
I remember one time I was playing Good to go. I took over the Fortress and bought a week's army production. So, the tower hero comes and tries to conquer me. I remember he had 7 Titans, 92 Naga Queens, lots of Archmagi, swarm of Master Gremlins. I can't remember to this day how on earth did I win that fight, but I do know that in the end he had 3 Titans and I had 23 Gnoll Marauders. He shoots and... kils 4 Gnolls. How the heck can that be? 3 Titans kill 4 Gnolls?

My guess - you were Tazar at about level 20, behind the walls and at long range, with the Vial of Lifeblood (and maybe a Ring of Vitality). Before factoring in attack and defense, that drops each Titan to killing one Gnoll.

92 naga queens?!?!?!??! isnt that a 5th lvl unit? damn! that would be like 92 orge Magis
or 92 dead knights
or 92 monarch wyverns
or 92 champions

Nah, what I find really strange is 1 Gnoll Marauder vs. 182. I mean not the numbers, but 2 players who upgrade Gnolls, thats really weird

Dumbest AI mistake ever
(This was on Hard, mind you. I'd expect this from the Easy A.I., but the one that supposedly "plays to the best of its ability"?!)
My friend (Tower) lays siege to the final enemy castle (Conflux). The catapult gets taken out pretty quickly, and all the towers are still going (all the walls still up too). My friend, for some odd reason (we still don't know why, except maybe he was just goofing around figuring he had the battle won) summoned 5 stacks of 52 Air Elementals each. At one point it's down to 3 Titans (and the Air Elementals, which are stuck outside the castle) against 30-some Ice Elementals.
And the towers and Ice Elementals go for the AEs instead of the Titans!
Still not in the clear yet, as the Ammo Cart is gone and the Titans are running low on shots. But thanks to some timely luck, he finishes off the Ice Elementals with two shots to spare.

I noticed that usually the comp attacks the creatures with the biggest life, or those in sheer numbers. So if the Air Elementals were more numerous than the Titans, I guess he had to attack them.
