i really think that dungeon are unballanced,there just too strong..i understand that assassin has ranged poison,but he shouldnt also have highest hp..he should have least...

Hey erasmo, where do you get that simple mod from?  I'd like to unlock some of those maps.

seems a pretty cheap update, "releasing" maps bundled with the game which are locked up and not offering a map editor despite promises otherwise.

Yeah, and you think the AI is dumb on the maps that come with the game, wait until you see the AI on those. For Multiplayer only at this point.

Is Necromancy REALLY a problem? Make it weaker and Necropolis is a joke faction.

Crutial features? You make it sound like the game us unplayable without these features. True, the editors/generators will increase the longevity of the game, but I think overhauling the AI is more crutial than map editors.

Not everyone will use the map editor. More people will use the random map generator. Everyone plays against the AI, even in multiplayer games (neutral creeps), and stuff like a stack of 100 Arch Liches casting weakness on their first turn instead of attacking just will not do.

But I'm pretty sure that you will get your editor/generator long before I will ever see the AI re-done.

AI is stupid on EVERY map And I bought H5 mainly for hot-seat [or cooperative games against computer opponents]. And it really spoils all fun when you see enemy hero staying at castle for weeks, even ignoring mines few steps away, when noone even tries to attack him... It is very common that I come near enemy castle, take his mine and it stays mine for few months...

dungeon is kind of overpowered when it comes to clearing neutral stacks without losses.. even with blood furies, I still end up losing some units to groups I could clear with Deleb with no problem ;///

Uhh assasins really suck. They are among the weakest level 1 creatures when you count in the weekly growth rate. That range penalty really murders them.

the ability to clear mines without loses comes with the experience. I am able to clear almost anything with the scout hero, ~40 assassins and 15 furies. No prob. When having master of storms/ice, I can kill even more. : ] I rarely attack ranged creatures, tho.

what difficulty are you playing on? When i play on hard AI rushes me instead of sitting home in his castle. every game week 3 or 4 AI attacks with everything he got. and their heroes lvl are 6-7 higher than my main hero

but on normal AI does nothing and is not a threat.

assasins suck?????assasins posion is great and there mele attack is more than great and there growth is decent for a lvl 1 creature with there attck,health and posion belive me assasins dont suck

... are you implying that I'm unexperienced? I'm speaking from experience here, from homm 3 and homm 5, playing each race, and I find that dungeon is one of the hardest because of the low growth of their units...

the scout specialist sucks mid/late game though...


soldiers luck isnt too good for dungeon, sinitar's casting or the blood fury hero/coven mistress lady are just plain better heroes imo

Well, on normal AI does almost nothing. On hard it can only rush. You survieve 2 weeks, you win the game, even if you are facing 6 hard ones teamed together.
Last time I played on hard AI came with army 3x bigger than mine at the end of first week or beginning of 2nd [don't remember well, rather end of 1st] - wampires, wights, tons of neutral joiners, but I had Deleb Before the end of 2nd week killed 7 of his heroes and captured his town.
2nd AI didn't rush but stayed for months at home, doing almost nothing.
