Well, since the latest patch it is a lot harder to get them.  Before you could get them before week 1 was up.


Considering that the Treant Arches require a level 12 Town to be available for building, you must either have a (partially) built town right from the start of the game, or you are cheating .

Forums are a funny thing.  On celestial heavens I read how impossible it is now for academy...they can't creep the level 6 is too resource intensive to get.  On ubi forums I read how Inferno is in the pits, sure they can get devils but then they can't get succubi or pit lords.  Now, here, I read that Sylvan is incredibly tough to play in 1.3.

My own take is that everyone is applying the new rules for your faction  but not taking it into account for your opponent.

Well then I guess H5 is generally hard to play, compared to the others in the series.

And you don't sit there for 2 weeks while waiting for Treants. As mentioned, a good stack of blade dancers, pixies and hunters will help you kill off a few starting groups.

again a bit of crap here...
1. 2nd week vamp lords pwners are possible only on maps with a fort. many maps we dont have a fort..
2. academy racial crap? it is imba! free 2 luck + 2 morale + some attack or deffense?????? for these other factions have to waste their levels! If u take luck can u imagine titans with 5 luck?
3. druid elders are diff to find against and disappointing in your army, cuz u know, noone wants to lose 4-5 nightmares or liches while creeping the crystal mine, but in a big battle 40 druids do 400 dmg , they can cast bolt only 2-3 times (i`m not a sylvan player) and u know, 40 liches can do almost the same dmg + cloud + spells.
Btw, yesterday of friend of mine enlighted me about another nival stupidity - most of the sylvan heroes cant get their Ultimate ability (natures luck i think) cuz they start with a wrong ability! good job nival, u left a free slot for skill, but didnt think that some starting abilities can pwn ur ultimate ability grid

I wonder if they tested the game before they realesed it.. noo, impossible.

Academy racial costs like hell, if you get +2 luck for titans, you have to build those titans first.. and the mage guild, I don't think there will be much left except for +2 month games or so ;X

About those vamps, ye ur right, I just play peninsula too much. 8P

1.Why?I thought it didn't require fort.
2.As doomforge said it's a bit too expensive.However if you place one property on the artifact it's pretty affordable.Choose wisely!
3.Mo sense comparing different tier creatures.
As for the ultimate Old Boy has admitted that it's supposed to be DIFFICULT Sometimes their comments are amusing,don't you think?

in each next patch paladins are weakest and weakest. first, their "jousting creature" ability has benn decrased to 5%, in 1.3 klaus also is less powerful. whyyyyyyyyyyyyy hmm i now why but i hope that in next patch or add-on this willn't be continued i think in hammers of fate they will have "armoured" ability. and 15% course resistance (my idea) or immunity to mind control will make me happy

The jousting bonus has always been just 5%, the ability description was incorrectly stating 10% - that was corrected in a patch.

so this is also a mistake? this is a screenshot from manual which i have downloaded from age of heroes. (i dont wanna to be naughty, only asking).  also i felt it in-game i think

i meant a fort in the town, u cant have the required town lvl on day 7 week 1 to build the dwelling, if ur town starts only with a hall! think a bit!

Deleb needs some serious nerfing in the Duel mode. Only Jhora can come close to beating her or Ossir if you're extremely lucky. I would say cut down her number of creatures by 25% for each stack and reduce the HP of her ballista.

About fodder units, Imps arent infernos fodder units, its one of their most valuable units. Demons are infernos fodder units.

After reading about 1.3 I think this makes games last even longer then before. You will loose more creatures now to neutrals. And the player who early game takes to many mines (might be stronger later game) etc will be open to rushing. So for many maps I think it will be a slower game since noone dares expanding to quick. I dont like this I cant play heroes MP atm because it takes to much of my time, most games lasting 3-4 hours.

And I who hoped that comming patches maybe even would increase the speed of games

Use Razzak.  He completely owns Deleb.  Just make sure to put the golems into 1 stack and use teleport very often to kick up the initiative on your golems.  Try to kill the Devils and Succubus 1st.  Then you'll have nothing to worry about.

But you're right, she does need a nerf.  I think lowering her morale to 0 would make it balanced.

So is it just coincidental that IMPs stand for I Must Perish? They were the favourite cannon fodders in H3. =p

I realy would like HOMM5 game to stay in slower gameplay. The situation that you are talking about remings me about Warcraft and Starcraft. HOMM was never like that and this game is not ment to be played so fast.
