Poll Question:
Future Factions
Let's think about this logically, based on the way HMM V is going.
The towns that are almost certain to be in the game are:
Orc,
Naga.
There are other possibilites of cousre, but I'd like someone to back them up with official facts before we see anything concrete.
So, what do you think will come first?

Naga, since there are still 2 elemental dragons not used in game - Water (Shalassa) and Air (Sylath). Since Air is dragon deity of free cities (and from Dark Messiah, those are Human based cities), it won't be included, at least now... So only logical assumption would be that Naga will be introduced into second expansion.
But... I had a theory that dwarven hero will be might oriented, while Naga hero will be magic oriented, however with the runemage the theory aint exactly right, so perhaps orc faction will be introduced.
So by chance percentage I would think that:
Naga Sanctuary (Name has been even mentioned in Homm5 lore) - 65-70%;
Orc Stronghold (It has also been mentioned that it would not be enough orcs and other creatures to form a new faction yet) - 15-25%
Something else - 5-10%

I agree, and there are thousands of Creatures of the Deep for a good faction. The mermaids better be dressed modestly.

I also feel quite confident that we will see an Orc / Ogre town next up - the new Artifacts indicate that strongly. It also seems like a more "safe" choice than the Naga city, because many fans have been craving for a Barbarian city ever since the release of H5. I still, however, say that the Stronghold should have nothing to do with the futuristic approach of your settlement - sorry - but should either incline towards the ideas from Heroes 3 (likened to the suggestion I and others made a while back) or what was discussed in the very long Fortress thread.

I realy hope Orcs will be the nex race in the second expansion. I have always liked Orcs and I would realy enjoy playing with them, however hard they suck in therms of statistcis. I'm very addicted to Orcs in any game.

Well, if you want to know about how keen Heroes fans are for futuristic towns, read the Age Of Heroes Armageddon's Blade section. They actually once wanted to make such a faction, but the whole community went into an uproar, and they discarded the idea. Don't think they'll make that mistake again.

Well, since they're unlikely to include TWO towns in next upgrade, we still should vote for only one of them as being the next to come - no matter whether we'll wan't to see both of them at some point.
