Not exactly, your MOD allows 4th creatures (base +2 upgrades +your upgrade), and this MOD improves the base creatures to reach the power of upgraded creatures.

indeed....that is very confused

I thought this thread is talking about NCF creatures....

Surely a name as « Base Creatures with enforced stats » is better ...« 3rd upgrade » is already too known...

anyway even with high-stats, base creature remains base creature and it is not upgrade...

Ah I understand now, you want to have 3 creature choices instead of 2 for a duel map? Nice idea, but 2 problems:

1) balance, obviously

2) you start with non-upgraded creatures, so why would you upgrade them and lose money if those are as tough?

1) Were do you see a balance problem? Do you try it? If yes I'm waiting your balance opinions, of course!
2) In Arena games you just start with few tiers 1 and 2, that's not a problem. Maybe that's the case on Elvin's map?

I'm wondering about a few creatures :

peasant : ini 6? I know he has dash, but...
priest : looks a bit tough. in the other hand, his spells aren't that good, but as a shooter he looks strong.
angel : only 200 HPs?

blade juggler : looks a bit weak
druid : can resurrect by using mana drain?
treant : looks a bit weak

lizard rider : 10-17 damage??

nightmare and devil : look a bit weak

rune priest : looks strong

I hesitate between 6 or 7. The fact is a Knight can easily learn Power of Speed, and Haste+Dash is incredible.

Very robust but a weak Attack and slower than the others.

Yes "only" (it's not bad!) 200HP because the Aura of Magic resistance is really powerful, particularly for a true migh faction.

Yes, of course. Hard to use, but in a close game...

I don't think. Init 9, Vitesse 7, that's great! This Treants can now attack in the first turn with Tactic or Aura of Swiftness.

Probably too much, but compare with the Raider charge (target Defense usually = 0).

Instead of 2 Attack, 3 Defense, 1 Init and Aura -3Moral, the Nightamre gain the Cursing attack and -1 Moral for all enemies. Hum maybe I will slightly improve his stats.
Devil is strong with Bash and his great move IMO.

Correct stats, but NO spell. Maybe the 2 Flamestrikes are too good.

Thanks for your opinion. Of course this MOD need a lot of test to balance it.

the flamestrike is the main reason why I would choose the flamelord actually. it's incredibly powerful. that makes the flamelord one of the best shooters imo (whereas he isn't supposed to be a shooter)

I'm working on fusionning our 2 mods.
I will try to keep your units as they are, but there are some of them I want to modify.

Magi : looks a bit weak. but I noticed he has some great spells, does he stand the comparison with the archmage?

Genie : as he is an attacker, I would get rid of random curse and give him hexing attack maybe.

Defender : it's annoying that he has no more abilities than the unupgraded version

axe fighter : same thing, but I'm more annoyed by the stats. he is almost as strong as the harpooner and has 2 more initiative points.

thane : it's ok, but if I fusion our mods, he will have "immune to cold" instead of "immune to earth"

walking dead : looks a bit weak

wight : looks strong with init 14

goblin : I would get rid of treachery

centaur : maybe another skill?

shaman : looks a bit weak. yes she has agility, but I'm not convinced it's much better than hexing attack.

druid : looks strong (at least, compared with the other druids)

treant : maybe another ability? I was thinking of battle rage or fierce retaliation, but maybe that will make it too strong.

at worst, why not to re-stat all your own 3rd upgrades with Zenithale's stats.

that may not be a bad idea. except the graphics of some of my creatures may not fit zenithale's ideas.
