ligua latina
does anyone know latin arround here? i want a translation of someting similar to the sentence that a roman senator always used to close his speaches (i forgot his name). it goes: Anyway (there IS a better word than anyway, it should be more like "In other", but i cant think of it right now), I think that Cartage should be ruined.
First tell me if you know THIS sentance, then ill tell you the modification i want

yes, I learn latin, and I've heard of that sentence... don't ask me who said it though...

I must have no knowledge of the formation of the latin language (yeah, that would be correct..) since I looked for translation tools on the net and typed that in, and got all kinds of weird answers, so I recommend YOU, the one who probably has some knowledge of the language, go find a translation tool, but some of them are crap, they want you to pay, heh.

(By the way, if you can't find one, go to [url=http://www.google.com]Google[/url] and type in 'Latin Translation' (no '' of course) that's what I did, quite a few responses.)

I took a Latin class over the summer, and I have a Latin Dictionary and remember most of the Grammar.
You know Latin, Darkspirit? Do you know Classical or Medieval?(Classical for me) Are you fluent?
Anyways, you say this is the English sentance:
Anyway, I think that Carthage should be ruined.
I've changed "Anyway" to "Nevertheless," and here's what I come up with:
Nihilominus, Ego ille Carthagoinem corrumpebat debebat est cogetabat.
You'd better appreciate this; it took me fifteen minutes or more to look up all those words!

well, knowing latin is a big word... I do have latin class 5 hours a week... and oh boy... do I enjoy them... oh boy...
