Timeline anniversary.
HC def has a timeline now that it the 10 year anniversary is coming up.

Yes it did take me more then one day to find time to write this lol.
It wont be done in one time lol.
I am having fun doing this before I sleep!
I am taking my time.
Of course i came in HC in late 2001, so there wont be as much to write about in 2001 then 2.
Maybe get an idea of the mindset of the past & how many felt.
Seeing how it would of been at the times.
Yes Cat our first Diva was huge for many months!

2001
I came in Dec of 2001.
Basically everything was new, the topics & learning more strategies of Heroes of might & magic 3. This was coming in from the success of heroes of Might & magic 2.
There was other tournies like Myths & also another message board.
There was a need for a message boards, so we can discover thoughts from others & it helped organize the tournies. Bringing heroes 3
players together.
It was a great place to ask questions about tournies, points & disputes.
Others joined as well.
Everyone played TOH a little bit at least who was in TOH.
Excluding a few who just loved to spam.
Spamming was a huge thing that we all hated, but enjoyed at the same time.
The MSN zone was a huge place where EVERYONE on hc chatted without this message board. The environment was crazy, because anything went.
You have not read crap on here compared to the Zone.
Even the people who did not play came on the zone just to chat.
Also the time that many have left the heroes scenario forever.
There was another place called Gamespy where others joined
They had special sites where only the best heroes players joined called snows.
I was the last one to join
Most of us did not give a crap about feelings & there was many people who would rip you a new arse & laugh about it, including me lol.
We all knew each other. There was many groups.
The hardcore players. The tossers were born. Basically the aholes lol.
The spammers like Woock etc.
Neutrals like Shae Trielle & Bjorn192.
Believe it or not, since heroes 3 was in effect, many toh's joined the tavern & I did as well. Since i originally came in from toh.
There was optimism about Heroes 4 & this was before 3DOH went bankrupt.
The Library of Enlightment was a great place to learn new strategies.
Believe me those like Frank knew alot of strategies.
It came out a year later I think.
Many talented heroes map makers who took the time to create them.
There year of 9/11 when the twin towers fell.
Many topics about that.
Most of the people had great ideas, but more aggressive as well in their attitude. The Mods had a real handful in their jobs.
Some got banned & some got silenced alot.
Heroes 4 Lands of Axeoth also was around.
Same as heroes 6 now. Wish list etc.
Of course the Alter of wishes changes with each new game.
2002
TOH is as cuttthroat as ever.
Everyone wanted to win, & there was many who was banned from TOH.
I seen it personally once when Minator King mouthed off to Vesuvius with a bad rep & he got banned.
Yes many things that seemed harsh on here usually came in from the zone.
This was also a big year of the BG cheaters.
None of us trusted them except a select few like BG_Boxa & BG_Rok.
Many always had their name starting with BG, so you knew they was BG.
Also the war with the 2 German counter parts AndiAngel Slayer & Motorschaff.
Many golden age TOH's were retiring, but we still had many.
Vesuvius was retiring from playing around 2002, but still had the tourney going one more season or so.
TOH was still as cutt throat as ever.
Many other tournies was opening as well.
The toh tournies was at it's end.
Myths which was ran by Kitten Angel was closing down & about almost time for the women to merge with toh.
You will never see the merge in HC, because MAH which was the merge with TOH had it's own HC forum which is long gone.
Also some of the names on TOH rankings have started changing as well.
Many new changes had to come with the golden agers retiring.
Like map makers & some members to help run TOH.
MANY MANY THREADS about Hexa. Most bad.
They was crude & rude. They was one of the worst we seen, but they backed it up by being one of the best players in toh.
There was a huge war, which was the first of members vs Mods.
Where Andi & Motor with their Side Kick Sir Stiven mode Hexa & his Wife & co Mod Romana a living heck!
Alot of it in the Library of Enlightment as well as in the tavern.
Also got to remember alot of the rules was not in effect yet like 20 post limits etc.
Andi & motor did whatever they could to remove Hexa from Mod.
With proof as well as really harsh words to 2nd guess many including other mods.
People who was on here could not wait to see what happened next.
I was a hardcore Ahole back then. I am a different person now, but I helped Hexa & Romana & was able to say anything I wanted to keep Andi & Motor's mouth shut & did so.
Romana also made heated threads towards Stiven,Andi & Motor as well.
I also made a thread called this is totally lame which spoke my mind, which helped alot to cool things down. In a harsh way lol.
This lasted about 2 weeks i think or so.
The attitude was more alive then last year.
We all knew what to expect. Many was still here, even though some have left.
We all joined together to have fun.
Many games were opened like the story thread, tell the truth etc.
We all wanted to know each other & we all had alot of fun.
Heroes 4 kept getting delayed, so Ves just stuck with heroes 3 for now. Even though he was not playing anymore.
Yes Zud was as perverted as ever & the women loved it lol.
Many rules was also set for heroes 3.
Like Demension door,diplomats etc.
To some like me, some seem like the year 2000 & early 2001 was the golden age.
TOH was opened before HC.
So many came & gone.
Competition between MSN Zone & Gamespy cont.
Many prefered MSN Zone, but there was those who we liked who prefered Gamespy which we simply called gayspy lol.
Competition was as fierce as ever.
Many posted challenges as well as disputing problems by having a game of heroes to see who was better.
Everyone was curious who each other was in RL as well.
Some threads to get to know each other.
RLP thread etc, so we can know who we are playing against lol.
The tossers was in huge effect. We was like out own gang.
We all had a reputation somehow, but we all was either against each other or joined together to make HC a living heck lol.
We must of had many leave HC.
Many RPG's as well, which is why Bards forum was created.
We enjoyed it alot.
Many political topics was in effect as well with some of the best debaters.
Which is why OSOM was created a year later or so.
Of course the 20 post count did not come into effect until years later.
You can think the Woock & the other spammers, who spammed the crap out of EVERY THREAD & every place with nonsense & would not stop.
Silenced, they do it again.
Our first Diva came in here named Cathrine, but many knew her as Cat.
I helped her open up more & she was the beauty brit Queen.
We all loved her. She was nice, cool & like most Divas, did not last over 2 years.
She made the infamous YEAR BOOK where she did half the names & Lith Maethor, who flirted & chatted with her the most did the other half.
Many role plays with them, including a wedding thread etc.
It was quite fun.never got any which we thought was deserved.
So there was another war, where we accused mods of Favortism.
There is a Quality %, but it seemed like it was never followed.
Yes we all wanted to visit the modsquad lol.
Many has been banned for bad behavior or other reasons.
Including Murphy who made the infamous thread murphy's law
There was also alot of wars, because as yall know, TOH is different from the Tavern.
Many dont visit each others forum.
There was many fights & battles of being losers, tossers, aholes, gays etc. Worthless. So many harsh words & some been deleted within times.
It was a start of the QP feud. It lasted on & off for awhile. Many QP's came into effect & most believed it was unworthy, while others
Library of Enlightment came out, it was a great place to talk about heroes only.

I created it & came up with the idea & told Hamsi about it.
He told me to open the thread & i told him, na you do it & i will follow.
Ever since he created the thread, the place was just wild.
Oh man if i can go back in time & create the thread haha.
I am glad either way lol.

Many tried to copy my idea by making their own Tavern bar, but most flopped or failed.
Era was alot dif then 2001 & even early 2002.
I guess some will know what i mean like in early 2009 compared to late 2009.
Many contests was created as well
Best Avatar, awards etc.
I think my Old school Chimera avatar i had from 2001-2009 i think was one of the best!
ALSO the huge year where we had our Mystery Guest.
We never knew who it was, but he was either new or someone.
At a time we thought it was killa.
His name was Dear morons & he was a hacker who hacked HC a few times.
Flamed some of the best tossers like Andi.
I stayed cleared because i dont like hackers!
My com was not totally protected at the time.
YOU GOT TO REMEMBER, YOU NEEDED A PASSWORD TO GET IN MODSQUAD AT THE TIME.
He got banned Morons kept coming back.
he was a scary person because he knew how to hack.
Unfortunately for Romana, for reasons unknown, gave the password to Dear morons!
Not sure exactly what he did in there, but She was confronted & she was the only Mod to quit on bad terms.
Val & many of us tried to convince her to stay as mod, but to no avail. In Aug she quit as mod & stated why.
Hexa offered me the password but i refused.
I did what i could to talk to Romana at the time.
Later with an apology Val Banned Dear morons finally as well.
he will be back years later lol. He made this thread the same day Romana quit as mod.
Also when i shared some Poetry. Many deleted, some still there.
I think my first one was when one of my best friend passed away back in 2001.
Wrote it a year later.
Hehe I remember when Dar kraven was new, Stiven myself & a few others did not like his spamming, so we made him feel so unwelcome that he had to quit & come back in a new name!
Hehe the Ransom Letter thread was fun 
RedSoxfan was the king of creating RPG's. As well as the Chess thread that many liked.
Library of Enlightment was pretty typical.
The Hydra really helped in alot of organization.
Many threads been deleted with the war of the Mods I call it.
only one left is the one Val left if i remember right.
Tribnal opened up in 2002 as well.
So we can make threads directly to the Mods & Val about problems & concern. Or updates including banishment.
Some of the popular peeps like Stiven was banned, but all the convos happens off the scenes in the mod Squad.
So many always tried to convince them to see the mod Squad.
of course to no avail & funny threads teasing us about seeing it.
Only to see a doughnut LOL.
Also where the Award thread came from & avatar creations etc.
Bards came out a little later I think next year, but many old threads was moved in there.
So it looks like it was created in 2001.
2003
Heroes 4 was starting to get into gear, but TOH was still cutthroat with Heroes 3 as well.
There was serious issues with half playing heroes 3 & half playing heroes 4.
To the point that AOE tourney was the biggest place to play Heroes 3.
Myths was on full stride as well & at a time it was the biggest place to play in. It was ran by Sapphire Ravyn & Kitten Angel.
Basically Vesuvius got fed up with the total whining & retired TOH & was ready to open Heroes 4 & he let the ladies open the merging Myths back in early or mid 2003 I think.
It was big when Andi & motor was active, but with the hatred of the two by Kitten Angel, it went down to heck.
To the point where both quit, Ravyn stepped down & Kitten Ran the tourney with an iron fist & was power hungry.
The tourney slowly died & so did MAH merge. As well as the forum.
Yes the forum was grey & white
Also the Zone was still active.
Soon later on in the mid year little by little the activity will get lower & lower. With people retiring or just doing other things.
Soon the Zone will be with far less members.
A place where most went to if they wanted to chat or play the game.
Or Gamespy which the wimps played in .
In the later mid month People are now questioning Mah & Kitten Angels rule.
Motorschaaf stepped down after he earned many respect for his honour & fairness. We all respected him, but because of Kitten Angel abusing her powers, he stepped down & we all wanted Anarchy for TOH.
3DO went backrupt.
Mindsets on TOH of this year was basically some playful fights between Heroes 3 & heroes 4.
Competition on what game was more skillful.
Anger towards Vesuvius for closing & also regret as well.
The way MAH was being ran & how different it was. most wanted TOH back.
Wishing the golden agers would come back.
Playing in different tournies
Personally it was a tough time for me.
As dating Kitten Angel at the time, I had to back her up on some things which I regret & got into it a bit with other members & players.
Yes i missed my plane flight & there is a funny thread in TOH somewhere about it
Basically i missed my flight, I had no cell phone at the time & I had to use their internet to post a thread on here to tell Kitten Angel i was stuck till the next day.
So yea the TOH's stuck it to me good for it LOL.
Yes the retirement threads was flying & vesuvius still had his great humour lol.
