Random Maps

When creating random maps through a stand-alone WOG map editor - cuz the "official" one won't work -, the maps won't show up in my "Random Maps" bar in-game (although they can be seen in the particular folder when opened in map editor, but NOT when searching for them via Explorer) (???)

I can create them during the game, but I prefer via a map editor.

This sounds like a Windows 7 "Compatibility Files" issue.  If you are running under Windows 7, open the Random Maps folder in Windows Explorer and look for "Compatibility Files" on your task bar and click on it (I think - I don't have this on my W7 system anymore because I gave my 3DO folder general Read and Write Permissions).  Do a Help or Google search on Windows 7 Compatibility Files for more information.

If you aren't running under Windows 7, then I don't know what the issue is - good luck.
