Osama Bin Laden
Hello Everyone again!
I am assuming that some of you have a concern (and questions) about the War on Terrorism that has been going on in the Middle East and Afghanistan for almost a year or so.
Personally, I can't see a major breakthrough in the hunt for the most wanted man on earth, Al Qaeda terrorist Osama Bin Laden. So far, the only real breakthrough that the US has made was the fall of the Taliban and some minor Al Qaeda hideouts. They also claimed to have mistakenly bombed some civilian targets and even their ownselves. As for Osama Bin Laden, I can bet he's still hiding out there, possibly not in Afghanistan. I really hope Osama gets captured or destroyed real soon.
I wonder about the lot of you, what do you think about Osama Bin Laden and the war on Terrorism?

Heh... This war against terrorism is just a big damn show, if you ask me. Ok, US had to react somehow to the stike at the towers, but they haven't accomplished much - and they sure aren't going to wipe terrorism out of Earth. It was really a jackpot to G.W.Bush, for now he's the hero of the Americans fighting the baddies of Taliban and stuff

Meh... the entire "War on Terror" is just a bunch of propaganda used by the Bush administration to fool the common people into thinking that we're actually accomplishing something. Well, let's see what the U.S. government done so far:
- U.S. bombers have carelessly bombed civilians in Afghanistan
- Instead of striving for peace in the Middle East, they are funding millions of dollars in weapons and whatnot to Israel in order to keep their oil interests in the Middle East.
- The U.S. still has not captured Bin Laden.
- Bush has pretty much forced all countries in the world to have a stance on this with his "With us or against us" remark... no option of neutrality, it seems.
2004 will be my first oppurtunity to vote, and I can tell you right now that it sure as hell will not be Bush.

I didn't want to do the war on terrorism from the start... what would be the point? But I agree, it was just an action to satiate the cries of the American people for blood. And no, I don't think it has accomplished anything, and its lost wind. Not to mention all the lives wasted for nothing to show for it.

Did you know that on July 3rd, the number of civilians killed in this "war against terrorism" totaled twice the number of americans killed on september 11th? It isn't fair.. just more killing. We don't need more killing.
Osama Bin Liner is actually Saudi Arabian aristocracy, not Afgahn. The Saudi athorities have been trying to arrest him for years. It is doubtful he would go to Iraq as he never got on with Sadam.. nobody gets on with Sadam. That is just propaganda. We are bombing Iraq now because it is becoming an annoyance. Sadam has more staying power than Margaret Thatcher, and he's just as mean... although he doesn't have that disasterous perm...
It is likely Osama (if still alive) is in the least expect place.. which would be Europe or Saudi Arabia. not hanging out in Iraq with a come and get me sign on his head.

Anyway's.. IF some peoples opinions about 9/11's (or antyhing) is down to one's own earth, then it just is.
It dosn't have to be agreed upon, but it shouldn't lead to anyone bashing the individual.
Look at it here this way, if everyone had the *so what* attitude the world would be a nice place. 9/11 wouldnt have happened. We jsut would live in our own lives doing our own thing to live and play.
Just co-existance.
Fellowship, survival, personal interests, and achievements would matter by themselves.

Seems to me a just "so what" attitude on anything would result in pure nothing if one follows this through. Nobody would give a crap about what the things you mentioned that we would all love to see more of "Just co-existance.
Fellowship, survival, personal interests, and achievements would matter by themselves."
Evil is the key in all things it seems to me. All people are innately evil (let's not digress to "what" is evil anyhow please). People live in the world. You get what you get as a result in this place.
(might be interesting to hear from all the innately good proponents "with no legs" - ie: none to stand on accept trying to say legs don't exist anyhow because they are just an opinion)

For Instance, pearl Harbor, At first Everyone was touchy about it. Nowadays there is Movies, Books, Jokes, And So forth so forth. And There is a point, No One has 100% proof that OBL Commited the attacks. more like 99% No wonder the rest of the world hates america. they need to take the damned Sticks out of their Asses.
