Since there's one user silenced per like 2-3 months here, I don't believe it needs any more attention. It's already an event members discuss over a couple boards without us posting tribunal info

I don't see a reason for such a thread.
1. A silenced member is still able to write IMs. If he/she feels the need to, an IM can be written to any of interest and the current story can be "spread".
2. Why should every member be informed about a punishment towards another member? Have you every seen something like that in school or in your company? "We have fired Mr. Miller today", "Miss Smith was sent home for 2 weeks because of sexual harrassement towards the senior chairman", etc... Never...
3. Every member is able to complain about punishment he suffered here in the Tribunal if he likes to. Of course it is not easy done when silenced or banned, but those actions are not the FIRST step a Mod takes when being forced to punish a member. There are ALWAYS warnings (plural!!) coming first. If still no better behaviour shown, we have to use the silence button. If the silence is over, a complain about that issue can be opened (from THIS member) and discussed. If rules are sill broken even though a member IS already silenced, it is quite obvious, this member doesn't want to change. Game over.

When I first became a member of this board, I was absolutely bloody crap. Angelito would know all about that. I changed. I got banned for a week but at no stage did I make numerous accounts and piss people off in that regard. Sure, he may still be young, but he has added nothing of value to this forum and all he has done is piss people off and make this forum a worse place. If he had common sense and was willing to change, don't you think he may have just took the ban on the chin, waited until it was gone and then try to change? Sorry Forf, some people can't be given numerous chances and if this guy had of just taken it on the chin and returned and actually contributed something other than crap then we all wouldn't be here typing all of this now.
If I was admin, I wouldn't give him another chance.

Val has declared there are no second chances for banned members. If you don't like that policy, you should take it up with him.
Please also remember this is a thread for suggestions to make HC a better place, not a thread to discuss case studies of previously banned members.

If I remember right, even before you came on Angelo, that Val gave Wesley a chance under the name Wesley after Wesley begged to come back for awhile when he got banned the first time.
To say the least Wesley blew it again.
I was not around when he got banned in his first name.

I have another minor renovation suggestion: new members don't always realize when they have HCMs waiting. I have sent new members HCMs before and seem them sit unopened for days and even weeks. I wonder if there is a way to make waiting HCMs more obvious to new members.

Dude, Val, keep it up. I thought HC was destined to slowly descend into an abyss of non-modernity until it was so ancient that people would just turn around at the register screen but... hell if you stay active my favourite hangout spot on the interwebs might live another decade 
Suggestion: add spoiler bbcode allowing us to hide parts of our posts until clicked.

This is a different kind of bonus program
There is diablo 3 fan page that has really interesting achievement system for users - it looks like you are 'playing' using their website an forum. Unfortunately i cant remember address of this site. I was only visiting it during Diablo 3 beta key hunt
