Now to my music preferences...
This may come to you as a sharp electroshock, but I prefer pop and R&B music. You know, pop like Britney Spears, Ronan Keating, Shakira, J-Lo, Madonna, Backstreet Boys, and so on.
R&B music is not boring or geeky, it's pretty good to listen to. Singers like Mariah Carey, Craig David and bands like Destiny's Child, Honeyz, Az Yet and Boyz II Men are great too. And there's more I like as well.
I also have a taste for country (Shania Twain), techno/dance (Joanne, La Bouche), and rock (mainly 80's rock).
That's music.

You know I got to say it was so cool to see so many people here that like metal (Helloween, Savatage, Blind Gaurdian, Priest, etc.) in general and Maiden in particular. In the US people are so into trendy music and rap...you are pretty alone if you are into metal in the USA. I got to say as far as music, other countries seem to have much better taste than fickle america Nice to see other musical mates.

nope, no greek but german, but rotting christ is the best melodic black metal that is out there, some songs are real masterpieces, like if it ends tomorrow, art of sin, fateless, sacred path or moonlight

Metal is definately the best music and i am in to it
No need for crap like britney backstreet boys etc lol GET REAL!

Dark Tranquillity , In flames , Amorphis, At The Gates, Rotting Christ (yes i am greek ), Paradise Lost ,Nevermore , Iced Earth and others

Tell me, tell me, why is Britney Spears junk? Her music is listenable (same goes to Backstreet Boys as well), and I quite much enjoy that type of music. As for metal, I just can't listen to insane barbaric screaming in addition to ear drowning heavy drumming and loud bass - it drives me crazy!
But then again, that's me.

Metal has a HUUUUUUUUGE variety it's not that barbaric and it's nothing like most people out of it thinks.
Anyway...about brintey and the boys now..I don't know it's just that their music doesn't touch me a bit.i don't like it at all.It's kinda boring don't you think?
