I already took an interview from Val and I was always planning on bringing up some important things that happened in HC's past..like all the juicy fights we had

There are two threads in which the Masacre better known as The Rampage took place. Woockardo's Shack of Fright, and Elf's Tavern. The thing at Nimrod's is way bigger, and both threads are in the Tavern.

Right I think the dates obviously were quite optimistic, so they will have to be pushed back a bit....... 
One thing, so far we really don't have enough people signing up. Seriously guys if you want this to get off the ground we need more people, probably at least 6 to a dozen more people prepared to write articles. So far we have:
Jokes: WizardBoy,
Misc: RMS, Romana, Azure Majesty, Shadow Elf
RL news: Me, Dargon
HC News: Romana
As of now HC news will include the interviews for ease.
Editing: Lord Woock - Grammar checks etc
Uploading, Layout and Maintenance: Sir_Stiven and Sir_elric
I will PM some people for the RL news, I have some ideas there. Also I am working on some others for the HC news, but more people are needed right now. Because of this no deffinate dates will be set right now, but if more people are not coming forward soon, we may have to scrap the idea.......

lol errmm no? the thought was too have a group, not one man and one to look into things. As far as im concerned i saw several people interested in joining lay out group. Someone please set up a list of all volunteers at all places and we will work from there.
EDIT: Ok without any back checking lay out group is following members so far:

hehe dont worry hudson, once Elric and Nidhgrin has the time (within a couple of weeks) we will start this one off and hopefully get someone else to join aswell.
As i reckon people with graphic knowledge would also come in handy id like to ask you IYY if wanna have a part of that group aswell? And if u dont care to reply here ima IM ya about it anyway
And yes i will still be involved in this, i will look into and work things out as good as i can because i will get this thing running. Ima be top man that will get this stuff together in long run, talking about responsibility...would u like to be responsible for whole article section PH? We could use one of those i guess

I have no clue what everyone else is doing but I already got that interview from Val and I also got the blast from the past thing covered and now I'm waiting for an interview with Vesuvius..
I already sent the interview to PH..
So I'm waiting for the things to be "published" actually..
Furthermore I think Stiven is doing a sucky job on the responsability thing..
Seems to me you're not trying to speed things up at all..
If you want to have the lay out team ready ..I will go chase some butts instead..We have to be making a deadline by now..people are waiting

Okay Slave driving time
The following teams are in place

RL news: Me, Dargon
HC News: Romana
I am going to make the following suggestions. Since we only have a small number of people working on each team compared to what I thought I suggest one overall Editor for this role, and since no-one else has shown an interest so far in pulling together the articles I volunteer...... complain away if you want
To avoid any repetition I shall now recap precisely what each person intends to do:
Jokes: I shall get some funny quotes, trivia etc from the web
Wizard boy - I hope this doesn't clash with you, I would appreciate it if you would post here some details of what kind of jokes
Misc: Azure - A dear Debbie column - For everyone else please hurry and get your letters to her
RMS - I need you to be specific about what work you intend on doing, what kind of article(s) will it be?
Romana - I need you to be specific about what work you intend on doing, what kind of article(s) will it be? (for this section only of course)
Shadow Elf - Quizes, Riddles etc
RL News: Dargon - You agreed eventually something along the lines of a kind of american style view of world events and some unusual things happening over there
Me - I'll try and find some unusual events happening around the world and some British perspective on world news.
For anyone else, this section may start to look like a Western world view of RL, so if anyone wants to give another perspective then feel free.
HC News: Romana - She has already sent me an interview with val and has promised to try and get one with Vesuvius soon. I may even persuade her to do some more stuff perhaps on the perspective of what it's like to be a mod, but as she works alone on this section I geuss she's done enough for now
Deadlines
Well here goes nothing
Since at least 3 people seem to be raring to go how about next wednesday for a deadline to get all of the articles over to me? This is negotiable of course, I dunno what kind of time each person needs, so post your thoughts on this here.
Where to go now
Well once I have the articles they will be sent along to Lord Woock, who has kindly agreed to do any spell and grammar checking for the newsletter. Once this is done, these will be passed onto the Layout team.
The layout
Stiven, Romana's right, this is taking too long, we need some confirmation on time from the layout team and if it is going to be 2 weeks before you even meet, well we need to look at other means sorry. I want this to be done sooner rather than later.
So we now hopefully have a deadline and a clearer idea of who is doing what. Let me know your thoughts and/or objections, none of this is set in stone so far and I can always add or edit this later
Thanks to all of you anyway, with a target we can make this work

Sure thats your call, if you people here want me out that i will be. I can take my responsibility and leave here and now.
Let me just get one thing straight here first:
What i have been wanting for this newspaper since i started to care about it is that would be a quality news paper...something that people wanted to read.
Something the members here would be proud of.
Not a 50kb long post with article after article - i want something thats looking good. That would appeal to everyone. Im talking graphics and lay out here, not word after word after word.
I believe in quality - not doing a work as fast as possible.
And to recieve this quality we will need the best suited persons at every place in my opinion. And for now thats what taking alittle time.
To let you know, the lay out group will be ready within two weeks. Then we will start building this project up.
If you feel impatient about those weeks, and want something faster but much not as near as good as it could be then i respect that. And shall leave this project right away.
So i ask you the members of HC...not romana and PH, i guess you have already shown what you think of this.
But the rest of you, that this newspaper is meant for and will get to read it:
What do you think is for the best here? if you want me off then i will be.

Reading between the lines again aren't we? I did not say I want you to leave stiven, only that this is taking too long! why can't you ever read what I say stiven and not what you want me to say?
To clarify my side of the argument and not what Stiven thinks it is.
Number one no-one said a thread, no-one said a 50k post, you have assumed that. there are more ways than 1 of getting a page onto the net stiven, more members than you and Elric who can do layout. I want as many people as possible sure, but kindly do not make this into a thread vs page argument as that is not what I meant by looking to other means. You assume that I meant that when I actually meant that since there are others (neb and shadow elf to name a few) prepared and able to produce this work we could always turn to their support on this matter, they could help produce the starting information and get some of the pages up in advance of you and Elric.
I'm not asking you to leave stiven, but asking you to either get into gear sooner, or give us some idea of a time frame, or even let us work to our own deadlines and then come in and improve on the work done as a kind of layout editor or whatever. I need you to be precise stiven, not vauge about times and what will be done.
I want a quality newsletter, I want it done right, but I cannot see why you need 2 weeks to even begin the discussions. Why stiven? Are we expected to put it on hold until then? You are not the only person involved stiven, don't go all defensive and offended simply because the others want the work done now.
And on the quality, since no-one is discussing the layout, who knows and determines who is best for the work? you?
Come on stiven I'm trying to get this done, you asked me to get the articles sorted and I am, not take over your role, but you need to be a bit more certain about roles and a bit more clear on times stiven. If you can't be then someone else can that's all. I know you can be clear on these things so SAY them rather than mess around!
