If Heroes were to be connected to the modern empire....
Can you imagine? Stacks of Rifle infantry and Tanks Versus our spellcasters and Dragons! And then there is the Lasers and the Miniguns and the Trenches and the NAZIS!! Imagine that happened! and you got a crazy mage who opened up a portal accidentally joining the two worlds!! Then it will be Magic versus destructive firepower!! Then maybe they could make the screen 3D panning view that you can see all aspects of the battle! Then there is the virtual simulation of the real battle after the battle! (as in after the battle a 3d motion picture of the battle will show) Then there'll be all the gunshots and the fiery destruction! very very cool.

There will be like saddam's little paradise and Al qaeda training ground for towns and you have little terrorists on bicycles that kamikaze... the tanks? genies can't reproduce tanks! they will accidentally kill it! Tanks have a negative magic resistance and the extreme firepower in saddam's tanks tend to be extremely unstable. Nukes? Yea sure saddam got nukes all right but he cant fire them  he's too stupid.
