the movie & Bush

I'll take the 25 points.  The movie is A Few Good Men, and Bush is not the brightest man in the world.  Still, post 9-11, after the worst attack on American soil since the Civil War (Hawaii was a territory, not a state, in 1941), in such times it's natural for Americans to rally around the flag and the President.  My country, right or wrong--my President, even if he is a moron.

When discussing Quayle, you have to make sure that you write potatoe head.

I'm not sure how this is relevant.  Pearl Harbor was still an attack on American soil (or atleast, American water).  Just because Hawaiians had not yet been granted the rights that they should have been granted yet doesn't mean that they weren't Americans.  Lots of Hawaiians joined the army and fought for the US in WWII (including 5 of my uncles).  How was Hawaii not American soil?

Quote:
Your both moron's to me right now. In this time of age, when the countries are neck to neck in anticipation of war, your gonna laugh, and toy with them.

Check this out, that person who your talkin' trash about.. Has a 33.3% influence on what's going to happen in your live's. This fact may disturb you, as your cho8ice is not to be under goverment, but We're on the GOOD side.

We are protecting against the one's with.... weapon's and is ready to use them.

Think about something before you laugh at stupid joke's like this.

Laugh now, and remember how you walked through life, when your skin & eye's will drain out chemicals and it hurt's so bad you wish you could die, or just rip your entire body off of yourselves.. You know, the feeling of salt within every molocule of your body, burning burning until your lungs finnaly give up trying to gasp for air.. It's hard not to breathe, your lung's will keep you clenching for death for about 4 minutes.

Have fun *******'s laugh it up

my opinions have been expressed, i will now withdrawl from reality to form's of entertainment

I was mad. When I see thing's like this on saturday night live I cant help but feel that life around me is out of specs.
I see it as the war against terrorism should be taken seriously. Mabey if the thread was called "bush bloopers" and not something as "look at this dumb ****, and he's a leader"

People make **** up's, god made humans imperfect (if he's real) and many people could be subject to a pic like that if they had cameras on them every minute in public.

I dont think your both morons, I think you both have your opinions which is alright.

I just wanna know why you dont want people making fun of others. I dont care about if the guy is the US president or Egypt, or Cuba, or any other country. We(brazilians) make a LOT of fun of our presidents. We have o TV program called Casseta & Planeta Urgente that weekly make fun of EVERYTHING, including Fernando Henrique Cardoso(our president), Osama Bin Laden, Bush, Backstreet Boys(that´s  really fun) and any other thing they want to. Just laugh with the others, dont get upset for this kind of things...

I agree with Celfious.

And to AP-  In the U.S. most of us "common folk" don't do things like that, at least not publicly.

Yes most countries with freedom of speech have a satirical program on their telly of some sort. I personally love stuff that takes the mickey out of Tony Blair, so it's not me being anti-american

Err...are you living in the same US as I am?  What about Saturday Night Live and the various late shows?  What about the Onion?  Don't they make fun of our leadership and our culture as well?  They seem pretty popular...

Edit:  I'm sorry, what's the difference between the people doing satire in the media and "common folk"?

Yup the onion is cool

We have a (kinda) similar thing here called Private Eye which includes some of the following stuff

“Ian Pearce... has limped off with what looks like a shoulder injury.”

"You should not leave someone’s ashes on a doorstep, whether they are deceased or not.”
TOM BULL (funeral Services Director)

Nevermind...no one I know is doing things like that publicly.  I don't because I like Bush.  If Al Gore had got elected things would be screwed up.  After 9/11 he would have said "I know you didn't mean it, we no your sorry, we won't hurt you, It's not like we liked those buildings or people anyway".

rampant speculation

Ah, ah, ah!  You're mocking your country's former vice president!  Unpatriotic!

Seriously, if Gore were president, would it be okay to mock him?  Did you object when people laughed at Clinton?  It's only the political party that's different -- they're all human.

No one's forcing you to join in.  But please don't dampen our fun.
