Horses.
1. They are big and strong (male trait)
- But move very gracefully (female trait)
2. They aren't too smart (just kidding guys)
- But extremely sensitive and intuitive (female)
3. Once broken (you figure)
- they do not mind being ridden (you figure)
4. One who loves you will carry you until it dies
(loyalty of a true mate either way)
5. They are truly noble animals. They are one of very few mammals that persist in identical form whether they are wild or domesticated, and perhaps the only mammal that can be domesticated even when born and raised wild...
Sadly, perhaps I relate to them a little too closely.
Crazyhorse, I think it was, once said that because the White men brought us horses, we could almost forgive him bringing us whiskey.
I had an Appaloosa named Whiskey when I was a kid.
Thanks for making me think of him. It's been a while...

You know Gootch, I actually submitted my post before realizing there was a second page when I scolled to the end to check my post. I see this exercise has already been played out, I apparently anticipated the direction it was moving in. QP's for me.

I may agree that cats r cool. Only because my gf has 15 of 'em! lol Otherwise I'd have to say dogs. They're good companions, they don't need a litter box, and they don't always lick themselves!

3) They have no natural preditors
4) There at the top of the food chain
There is about a dosen pairs that live near my home, I love to watch them for hours.It is unreal to see one dive from 300+ feet into the river and pull out a fish twice its size and fly off with it in its claws.

Hey, i've got two of those
No, really
One is a male cat wit a certain amount of personality, especially when he decides that the livingroom courtains need remodeling
The other one is a SHE, but she is a little smarter (talking about man/woman intelligence) and she leaves the courtains alone.
She's got a problem tough with the cables that connect my computer. Especially when I play heroes.

My favorite animal would be the Kiwi Burd. It's so cute and fluffy. I adore spiders though! Getting a tarantula soon.

Crazy? How's that crazy?
I think it's crazy how people can be scared of spiders, I mean, so what they're hairy (it just makes them cuter!) and so what they have lots of legs.

I like them too and for the same reasons and also because they are scaly (I love the feeling) and everyone sees them to be evil.
