HOMM3, is it dying out?
I was noticing lately the amount of players on the zone is going down slowly 
has this game reached it's max shelflife? is it time to embrace h5 when it comes out? or will h3 still be a hit for some time? lets hear your input

lets just hope homm5 will stay true to the game, and regain support of its fans. I will still say that homm4 is a great game, but its problems (eg. delayed multi release, slow data transfer time) is what really weakened it.

Homm4 is good enough to play before I play some other games.
Homm3 is to old to play more than 4.
I'd play a 16 bit game just as long as I would Homm3..

Is homm 3 dying? Yes and no
From one hand, many good players don't play actively it. And several tourneys instead of one big weakened it a lot.
But - there are many new faces keep emerging and thats good.
And afterall - the answer to that depends from us, players!
As for me, i'm pretty determined to play it for a while more and make new good friends withing the game from good HC members (xar, tewil, aculias, woock (with norbert  ), lews, archie, midnight, rychen, sir_ste, haile, even poor overflamed grunnan and many many more)

nopers it doesnt die , and it wont die, unless homm5 would be much better than the trash called heroes4 . Imagine how much 3do loss after the homm4 was released , how much they expected to win and how much they loss instead.. we all know why
I guess homm3 wont die aslong as there will still be randoms generators and also I guess that if we would have some new nice maps for the players that prefer fixed maps, would be great and help a lot too

It's not that it's dying, because many do still enjoy the game but it makes it more interesting playing in tournaments.
So which tournament to turn to is the key.
TOH, with power hungry leaders who love to condemn players a bit too much & lost some of the players as I seen because it's more diplomatic then fun.
Especially when you want to be the #1 tourney.
Plus this tournament is still based on favortism.
Wizard & Warriors is actually a good tournament with good ideas BUT when they got bigger so did thier heads & letting personal issues & lives condenm players is not right.
leaving one person to do all the work that dont even own the site, sahmeful.
letting everyone know about your personal issues about certain players then putting words in thier mouths is totally uncool.
Heroes League Basically an anti TOH tourney that actually harvest current HOS or banished players as well & most of these players dispise Vesuvius & his TOH be it only heroes 4 or not.
Bastards is probally the only tournament I really respect because they respect all the other players & actually care about having only fun & none of this diplomatic crap from the other 2 tournies.
As I know it is a competition between the two tournies which makes it diplomatic.
Whos better, what can i do make a sub tourney better then yours.
Whos got better ideas, whos #1 etc.
You see, it's just not fun anymore so players just move on or play for fun out of the zone like Andi.
How can we remedy this problem, mayhaps collaborators (what a word)
Can all come together & make a better tourney with out having any grudges towards others but probally wont happen because most of the ideas were taken from the past 4-5 yrs.
So what can we do.
Mayhaps just say forget all tournies & play for fun like Kirk,flame,Tel & some others do?
Who knows but thats my opinion why there are not many players these days.
Also some just got played out or realized how important real life is.
As we know Heroes 5 in the making & in the beggining of the making so lets hope we dont have these quarrels like we are now.

Yes of course it is dying, slowly. I equate it too a bad rash, just cant get rid of it.
I still enjoy the game but play it less and less all the time. For one...the game just takes way too dam long. I dont have 4+ hrs to kill like i did before.
Other games are far more intriguing.
I think you might get one more season out of H3, or at least one more with a decent participation level.
As far as H4 goes...well no need to even comment there.
Just hope for a good H5, but I personally think the series is dead and will never reclaim its past glory.

What I hope for is that heroes 5 will make a game that will reunite all of heroes 3 & 4 players in one.
2) True Ves but will it be the same if players would be playing heroes 4 as long as heroes 3 ?
