One time we started a seven person hotseat game that we played over a weeks period of time. I think that the final total game time was between 30-40 hours. Long summer nights. One guy was out on the second day and kept wanting us to quit so we could start another game. He ended up playing video football in the living room.

13hours with Phantom1500 for Kings of random ToH tourney, 9am til 10pm on an XL random. I lost, but was the best game I have played by far.

Long things.
Speaking of long Heroes games.....
I once played a tournament game (no time limit) with a guy who played the slowest Heroes game on earth!!! When we started I drew Deemer on an X-Large map and I thought.... kewl, I will play a nice long game and build him up to killer mage strength! After about a week, game time, I was through waiting for a long game, I just wanted to find him and kill him!! In real life if possible!!
I had studied all the possibilities, analysed my options, selected my path to a winning game and waited.... and waited.....
I got so tired of waiting that I installed a TV in my computer room between turns, I ran the cables for both the cable and satellite dish inputs. Watched a couple of sitcoms...
I had the volume up loud so I could hear when it was my turn.... which almost never happened.
I thought "What the hell is this guy doing??? He must be cheating"!!! I have played a LOT of Heroes and never seen anything like this.
Week 4.... our 3rd session of play, hours and hours and hours into the game and I have found one of his towns!! Quick, get a hero over there and take the town!!
Long story short.... I take the town with a secondary Hero and the guy resigns.... I cant believe it!!
I load up the game in hotseat mode to see what the hell happened and find.....
He had 1 town, 3 heroes, no 7th level structure....
To this very day, I wonder....
What the hell was he doing?????!!!!!

Just for amusement I decided to see how powerful a hero I could have if I hit every map structure on an XL map (Tale of Two Lands). It was month 10 before I finished. The hero was level 34 with stats 25/59/40/33.

I have had many long games, too many to mention even one, but many 12-15 hours in one sitting.

...a long game... hm.. about 15 to 20 hours I'd say... non-stop... against my cousin... i got my arse kicked of course... but then again, I was still a rookie... when it was over we slept for 10 hours or so...

longest ive ever had was a 12 hour 2vs2...but a long 2vs2 game isnt exactly unheard of

Huh huh, you said "long things"...
Hotseat memories again. I admit to be the slow bastard on my hostseat extravaganzas. Of course, I'm also the host, so I *can* be a slow bastard. *g* Anyway, a typical weekend of hotseat gaming goes about 5-7 hours a day, both days, and it continues like that for 3 weeks. My current game is Realm of Chaos on month 4, and I've currently got the slight advantage of starting with Tower and conquering the underground (but losing the Tower after I build the mage guild) and gaining Town Portal on Dungeon. In between turns, the two non-players are playing le fighting game dujour.
If that didn't sound disjointed enough to you, then you weren't paying attention.

Longest game hmm I had plenty but i think it may of been with Mr. Hathaway when I was in heroes encounters many yrs ago when i was a noob way before toh.
He was the # 1 player in encounters after Jex stepped down hehe.
I had the win easily I missed catching him by 1 stwp in the town & even tough I didnt know about cheapness etc.
We were both flux & I had 2 times the firebirds.
He Went from his town with 1 phoenix & H&R me over 5 times imploding all my firebirds & more I was pissed but heh thats the game right hehe.

We played also Insatiable once before I switched from Encounters to TOH.
