It can be but the title of world champion still getting to the southamerican, teams, not to say that they playt with all the playters, and i didn't saw seedorf smailing when they lose...in fact, i wouls say crying.....
...
The fact is that european teams,lose and lose vs southamerican team and there is no excuse when you lose....you simply do that......and can's stand a word like bestm when the profs are against you...
There is one winner, the rest is BLA BLA.
it's like people trying to oustand that brazil is the best soccer team.....there is no point he wins, everthing else won't work.

I knew about the Manchester Utd, but Real Madrid came to win the tournament, that's for sure.
Champions League really is the best club tournament, no doubt about that.

That is not true. Milan played with all available players they had(that mean same starters as in Italian League). I agree with you in some small tournaments, that teams only play to practice for the season, but the Inter Continental Cup(I think that this is the name you call the game in Japan, as Nebuka said) all teams want to win, mainly because the money, but give the teams some status too.

Recently FIFA asked Pelá(Edson Arantes do Nascimento) to make a list of the 120 best players ever(still alive).
Sixty retired, Sixty still playing.
He did, but 5 more names were inserted into this list by FIFA itself(One of the names is Edson's own name).

The repercussion of this list here was not very good.
As Edson says, Edson is a person, Pelé is other.
There are a lot of articles in the sports newspaper saying that Edson was, at least, unhappy(don't know if you understand this expression) in making that list. He should not have accepted that.
Making this kind of list, is taking too much responsibility to yourself. Pelé haven't ever seen many of the named players play, they are just there because they are famous.
These comments ask why Pelá "forgot" to name some more players from the 1970 Brazilian National Team (World Champion in Mexico). Rivelino, for example, was named by FIFA.
I think this kind of thing should not be made. If FIFA wants to make a list, do as UEFA and let the people choose the players(not as they did in choosing the best player ever), but letting the chance of many other people opine.

Hahaha! Portugal vs Greece. I thought it might at least end in a draw, so I betted against Portugal with Portugal letting off 1. But Greece won! And I got me some extra cash!
Anyway The Big Match will start in about 5 to 6 hours time. England vs France.

as some of you might remember i made a betting tournament and the idea was that i would make one this time too but since i dunno if i could spend as much time on it as it takes i cant make it. I dont wanna start something off and then dont be able to finish it.
That said we can always have some inofficial betting here between us, like that england - france will end 1-1.

Greece was a fine team.. they didn't lost a match in their qualifying campaign. I guess punters probably underestimated the power of the Greeks. I'll root for Greece now since Turkey's not in Euro 04.
