Today is five years of the tragic and unfortunate death of Peter Dubovsky...
Former player of Slovan Bratislava, Real Madrid and Real Oviedo, and the greatest talent of Slovak football in the past 20years.
Rest in peace Peter

Sad always when great footballers die. Commentaters also.
I remember when Brian Moore died a few years back. He had been the voice of English football for many years and the saddest thing about it was he died on the morning of the match where England had that massive 5-1 win over Germany in the world cup qualifier.
He would just have loved to have seen that match after all of Englands near misses with them over three decades.
On a lighter note. Over here in Britain we tend to mock David Beckham for being thick so here is a Beckham joke.
Gary Neville and David Beckham are talking about famous past Man U stars and Beckham says that he thinks that Eric Cantona is the greatest ever Man U player.
Neville says no it was George Best. Beckham says, " well he was ok apart fom the fact that he was always breaking his leg"
Neville points out that Best never broke his leg during his career, to which Beckham replies.
" Thats strange because whenever he is spoken about he is referred to as the famous Leginjury George Best.

Champions League
Well today and yesterdazy the second qualification round for CL started. So it seems that it is that time of the year again 
Some of yesterdays more interesting results were
Dinamo Tbilisi(Georgia) 0:2 Brondby
Dynamo Kiev 2:2 FC Thun(Swiss)
Anderlecht 5:0 Nefci Baku(Azeri)
FBK Kaunas 1:3 Liverpool
Today I'm off to the Celtics game here in Bratislava. Realy looking forward to this
So it seems that footbal is once again nearing it's prime time...

Did anyone see the so called friendly match between Man United and some Asian team? Rooney anf Van Nistelrooy started a fair few fights with the asian defenders, not to mention Nistelrooy missing some easy goals.

Well they won the first leg in the secon qualifing stage so there are three more mathces for them before the groups begin but so far they are still alive

Real Madrid lost!!!
Yeah! Was a happy happy night yesterday, the team that I hate the most in the world Real Madrid FC lost 0 : 1 to Arsenal  in the champions league 1/8 finals.
Did I mention it was a home game? LoL, to lose in front of 100,000 fans for a team as stinking rich like Real is considered a big fluke, but they are getting used to it by now.
Now the big screen is open for Chelsea vs Barcelona!!! What a game! Altough Chelsea has been limping lately they are still a great team and are worthy to play the best team in the world FC Barca, I know Barca will take it 2 : 0 or 3 : 1 anyone else want to make a gamble?

They are both good. Barcelona is good and Chelsea is still good too. FFS, how can a team be bad when it has $13,000,000,000 backing it up?
