This thread to me is like an example how mods shouldnt act at all.
Lets begin with first post that was Connīs and got a QP.
why?
please inform me how that post of his contributed to this community.
Has it sparked any giving conversations (except mods making fool out of themselves)?
Is it supposed to be funny? I sure as hell doesnt think so but please let me know if someothers do.

Being a moderator means responsibility, you are supposed to be a good example to how people should behave. Its as simple as that. Tossing is OK, direct personal attacks and insulting the community in general really isnt.
As for DMīs statement about you trading your password for his "real name" i dont even wanna believe it. Please tell me that isnt the case?

As for DMīs behaviour when it comes to make personal IMīs public...
Whats the point in IMīs if one side makes em public anyway? I really thinks this violates the trust between two people talking, and even if it cant be punished in some way i hardly think that account of yours will be trusted anymore.
Then we have noobgrimīs QP getting post, well...i guess that was just the thing the mods wanted to hear from a guy from "their" corner. So whats there to complain about huh? I guess that "everyone can "make" an IM too" just was the extra spice for it. Bah...atleast stand for your actions.

right, which mod keeps giving Dear Morons a QP?! you know he is gonna turn right back around to lose them again! and Romana, you gave Dear Morons your password so he would tell you who he is???? is it really worth it? what if he went under your account, gave everyone about 8 minus QP's so that they are banned and then gave himself like 10 +QP's?!

It is the darkest episode of HC history.
Delete it and lets forget that a day a MOD offered her password for a simple name.
Lets forget that there was a thread were the "bad" guys were the MODs.
And I sincerely suggest a reformulation of the MOD squad, either by voting or by Valeryi just choosing again.
This is not a crazy idea just to try to be a MOD! But being a MOD(like they have already said above) is more than give or take QPs.

Okay, I've consistently defended the mods, but this just takes the cake. I don't know what the deal is with DM, I don't care. What I do know is that if he/she/it was out to expose the mods, then congratulations DM, you've done it. I can't believe how badly this whole thing has been handled. They seem to be waffling between kissing DM's ass and threatening DM and then doing nothing about it. Since there has been absolutely no denial about the giving up the password, I'm going to assume it's true. I never thought I'd say this, but DM may be a twit, but he really proved his point in this thread.

Well, people get attached to their own threads. It's like captainaing a ship. It's natural that you feel apart of any thread you've posted in and contributed to. The thread starter is usually the one that feels most for the thread, but this is not always the case. Basically, I'd say it's Ok to call any thread yours if you've made a major contribution to it.
I hear you loud and clear... This thread would have looked very different if it had been placed in the Altar. As it is now, I don't know what to do about it. Tavern mods have posted a lot in it, so I assume they have read the posts in it.
I've taken up some of the things here for Mod Squad HQ, and ultimately for the attention of the administrator of the forum (Val).
If a Mod has willingly given Dear Morons mod access to the forum, then that person has done a major fault. Dear Morons cannot be blamed for this in any way. The Mod is the one who is responsible for keeping the password safe.
Otherwise, I'm unwilling to comment at this point of time. I need to talk to the other Mods first to get some notion on what has actually happened.
I fully understand the criticism here, and it was personally an unpleasant experience for me to receive those IMs from Dear Morons.
Just in case you wonder: I don't have moderating powers in the Tavern, so I'm not able to move/delete threads here. (I can give penalties and bonuses, but that's pretty much the limit of what I can do. On the other hand with three Tavern mods posting in this thread earlier today, it seems a bit awkward for me to do that.)

Hmm you still dont believe me Djive? I told you exactly what you wrote about me in the mod squad fourm. And just so you know I havn't writtin anything from there to the public fourms. Though there isn't much there as you should know.

Admit it for HC to see, remove your mod status and then move on with your life. You have been owned by the master, and not even a mods threats could keep you safe.

DM I don't care if they ban me, mess with my qp's or not you are the lowest form of life I have ever had the mispleasure to meet on a forum. You actually are trying to get at Romana for whatever sick and twisted reason you have decided she is not worthy. So she makes a few mistakes? You do what she did once almost every post you make and think nothing of it. Mods are not perfect they make mistakes!
Done nothing wrong? How about continually annoy almost everyone here and target a Mod for your flaming for no apparent reason? If the government gave you the keys to Fort Knox would it be any less stealing if you waltzed off with the Gold? She trusted you, that seems to be her only crime, so she is trusting, well that is really a crime isn't it?
What is the aim you have DM? To reduce a mod to the state you have? Remove her from the Board altogher? Because at this rate that is what will happen. She is a valuable member and contributes more than just flaming and insults all the time. She helped me loads when I first arrived and gave me confidence to post my opinions, rather than just lurk around the forum. All you have ever done for this place is to annoy almost every member!
Think about it you little man if they had a poll who would be more popular? You a flaming, newbie or Romana, someone who has made this forum as great as it is now?
To the other mods, seriously whether Romana has made an error or not is for you to decide, but PLEASE sort out this DM as he is ruining the forum for the rest of the members.

Annoying people isnt violating the COC because even you yourself annoy people, as does everyone who posts. You just must be to ignorant to understand and maybe sooner or later you will wise up to it. You dont like me? Cry some more and maybe you will get your wish because instead of doing something yourself you want other people to do something for you. When you get the mantality above a 7 year old please post here again, otherwise save it for your friends in daycare.

Obviously for someone who doesnt care you go to great lengths to prove how im always wrong or why I should be banned Bjorn.

First of all, I never liked this DM guy. Well, why I would like a person that keeps flaming guys that he doesnt know?
But we must admit that in this situation he is right. Why? Well, I havent seen Romana saying that she havent done it and it appears that the other MODs confirm that this happened(the password situation). So in a first look, it happened and was Romana who propose the exchange password-name.
So, we cant blame him for it. We can blame him for his "normal" actions like flaming(it is everything he does).
But, as I suggested before, I think this thread should be deleted an the MODs and Val should decide what is going to happen.

Even if you have access to someones password, it is morally wrong to abuse that knowledge to use the password, or threat to use the password.
People like Dear_morons is the reason we NEED passwords at all. He stands for everything that is wrong with humanity, and the fact that he is still here on this board is the worst crtiscism against the mods and upkeep of the board that I have ever seen.
Please ban him. I can give you a couple oī threads in wich he writes things that should be enough to ban him according to the coc.
