with the news that most creatures would have 1 or more special abilitys, 6 screens of creatures abillitys are reveiled!
Most are seen before. But the mages are explained to have a line attack there hits friends and foes alike from target point and through, even to warmachines outside "game" area?

No Orcs...?
According to the latest info, it was said there were not going to be Orcs in H5:

Very cool pics.
The delux set (if that's what it is) looks fantastic. Still though, its all going to come down to the review for me. If Gamespot gives it a a 7 or higher I will definitely buy it, and maybe even the delux set.
If the score is lower, well, I'll probably still buy it just because technically it is a Heroes game.

The devolopers of this game certainlly did a wonderful job on this game. Though I cannot help to think what the future of the game unfolds. Tomorrow is another day in the field of graphics technology.

I SURE hope that this game does not turn out like the HOMM game that came out for the PS2. That was an utter DISASTER, and the type of gameplay shown in those pics looks just like it, just a lot more cleaned up. No matter what happens, though, i think i'm going to buy the game regardless just to say i have it, u8nless it really SUCKS.

Yea, I saw that report yesterday when I was digging through the "investor" section of the website.
The pdf you linked to doesn't show H5 on the Jan-Mar release schedule. But the html file http://www.ubisoftgroup.com/News/Info.aspx?nId=3641 does show H5 on the schedule.
The big question is, which documemt is more recent?
Edit:
The pdf file was dated jan 26 2006. The html I linked to was dated much earlier Dec 8 2005.
So the more recent one does not show H5 scheduled. Interesting! But I don't think we can read much into it until/if something official is said.
