It would seem that British and American citizens have been killed as well by Hamas - which is pretty unfortunate, since if Iran is indeed behind this, and it looks like it, since Iran themselves said something like that and Hamas as well, then this might be the spark that can explode the whole powder keg (which might have desastrous consequences), since Iran is obviously on the crap list of everyone with the exception of mainly Russia (which tells its own story). The minimum reaction will be another couple turns of the sanctions screw and this time.

The way this went down, especially with the hostages taken, it looks like the move was designed to elicit a harsh and ruthless reaction from Israel (a certainty with the current government), so that finger-pointing is possible and the Arabic world will become more unified again against Israel and the Western infidels supporting it - but they did the Palestinians a bad service, considering that Israel has been a divided country at present with powerful forces opposing the antidemocratic course of Netanjahu.

This attack will unify Israel again, if only temporary, and certainly harden their stance even more. And since that is pretty obvious, you might even think there are forces at work who have no interest in a lasting peace, a normalisation in the area and neutral relations between Israel and its neighbours.

That Iran won without even going to war:

1. A large number of Israeli military personnel were killed, including high-ranking ones, and some were captured. Just 2.5 days later, Iran took full revenge for everything. For the killed IRGC officers, for the killed scientists, for the airstrikes in the desert. Revenge is a dish that is served cold.

2. Israel received the most colossal image blow in recent decades. The blow has been dealt to the image of the IDF, Mossad, Merkava, Iron Dome and other “constants” of the Israeli power myth. The massacres in Gaza and the attempt to clean up Gaza are, first and foremost, an attempt to restore a fractured myth so that Israel will once again be feared rather than laughed at. And that’s why you have to cover yourself with blood from head to toe. Regardless of what caused what happened - total bungling or an attempt to use the Hamas attack to attack Gaza in the style of 9/11 to solve internal political problems.

3. Iran acts as the main informal protector of Palestinians and Muslims, competing for this role with Turkey. Few people seriously dispute this role, especially in the Shiite world.

4. The war in Gaza has already led to the suspension of negotiations on the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. This normalization was directed against Iran. Now it is slowed down or frozen for a long time.

5. Sudan again after a long time restored relations with Iran. Although he is in favor of normalizing relations with Israel.
And this will not be a single revision.

6. The atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza have attracted and will continue to attract large numbers of radicalized young recruits throughout the region into the ranks of the Iranian proxy collection. Iran will not have problems with replenishing the ranks of its proxies for a long time, especially from the Palestinian environment, whose hatred of Israel will continue to grow exponentially.

7. US plans to normalize relations between Israel and the Arab world will be torpedoed as the war drags on, and part of the Arab world, which was previously cool towards Iran, will instead consider options for normalizing relations with Iran. This is also a blow to Washington’s policy and its further weakening, since by taking the side of Israel, the United States will continue to lose ground in the Arab world.

Israel is showing both Russians and Ukrainians what a real tough war is. Europeans are “humanists” only when someone at war against their allies.

When the allies of Europe (the West) are at war, any violence is considered justified and even sacred. They say that revenge for desecration is an honor.

There is a simple psychological trick here. We declare the enemy evil. If the West strikes, it hits evil in its lair (preemptively), if evil has crawled out of its lair, there is no mercy, and the children and old people of evil must be exterminated at the roots.

No mention of the Palestinian (and Israeli) victims who paid for this supposed "win" of Iran. They were sacrificed by Iran, not by Israel, and the only it shows is that there won't be peace, not as long as religious madMEN with loads of money and dictatorial powers are living out their hate fantasies. Iran is probably the state whose authority is hated by the highest percentage of its own citizens, which should tell us enough of a story.

Palestinians have never been more than pawns in the power games of that region. And Israel would probably be considered more of a "rogue state" with the West, when the Arab countries would be more ... likable.

We will see what happens further.

Ukraine has become the same pawn in the game of the West.
This means, applying your logic about Iran and Israel, it is the West that is responsible for the death of Ukrainians.
Moreover, regarding Iran, this is just one of the versions. Perhaps the people in Gaza were simply driven to despair by their situation due to Israeli policies.
And in any case, this does not relieve responsibility from Israel, which right now is making decisions similar to the policies of Hitler and the 3rd Reich - to deprive civilians of water, food, electricity, and subject them to bombing.
I'm not surprised by your cannibalistic logic. We have known the West for a long time.
Hitler and the 3rd Reich are not an accidental enemy who had to be expelled from Europe. This is not a demon that suddenly moved into Europe. Hitler and the 3rd Reich are a natural manifestation of the essence of the West.

You live your illusions of the end of the 20th century. I will not deny the obvious - the West was indeed attractive to most people in other countries. But you don’t see that now this is not the case at all. The so-called “authoritarian regimes” are now mainly supported by their citizens (all protests are usually inspired by Western agents receiving "salaries"), and in the West many people do not know how to escape from “democracy”, because this is not democracy, but the power of globalists, which is even tougher than “authoritarian regimes”. And the most important thing is that these globalists are inadequate - they don’t care about ordinary Western people. Today they impose sodomy, bestiality and other mental illnesses. What they will do to poor people tomorrow is unknown.
In fact, ordinary Westerners are now the most unhappy people on Earth (the only unhappiest are those who do not have the most basic things - food, water).

You are probably a Russian propagandist, getting paid for spamming the internet with nonsense, lol.

Your propaganda is untrue and what passes thereabouts for logic is deeply flawed. Put more effort into it to give it at least a modicum of credibility. Sheesh, the standards in Russia nowadays...

When Trudeau was accused of inviting a former SS soldier to the Canadian parliament, all he could say was “Russian propaganda.” If for the “leaders” of the West this is a universal magic phrase that solves all problems, then I can’t even make any claims against you...

Hardly surprising that's not quite true. Trudeau apologized for the President of Parliament who had invited the man (obviously without researching him to deep) and then to Zelensky, because of the opening that blunder would present Russian propaganda with.

Trudeau the limp apologized but in same phrase he accused Russian disinformation, while the entire fault was on him, for not doing proper research.

The incident in itself is irrelevant, it was obviously a blooper, one more in Trudeau's long list. But of course, russians and pro-russians use now this incident to take credit, why wouldn't they.

There was no need to do any research there. He had information that “this man fought against the USSR during the Second World War.” He didn’t know that during World War II Hitler and his accomplices fought against the USSR ?

From an interview with Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko (former Ukrainian, escaped from Ukraine after the Nazi coup in 2014):
"Their political influence is much greater than their numbers. Therefore, Canada has always supported Bandera. For Canada, Ukraine is Banderaism. Those who pass by this ideology remain in the shadows, are not noticed, or are branded with shame. Everyone knows that they are former Nazis. And they welcomed, and rewarded, and promoted. Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland is the daughter of a Nazi, a Bandera member who served in the same “Galicia”. She did not realize the mistake of her ancestors and continues to adhere to the same ideology."

You can virtually hear the wheels of the propaganda machine rattling ...

Considering how praiseful you are for the "so-called" authoritarian regimes where people are now so supportive for their minders, sorry, protectors, I'd expect you to be a bit more appreciative of the fine groundwork laid by the comrades Adolf and Josef, filetting Poland like the comrades they pretended to be, before going at each other's throat.

But maybe you and your chief of proaganda live too much in the past; as present times demonstrate, anti-Russian doesn't necessarily mean nazi, and nazi doesn't necessarily mean anti-Russian.

No, we see that the Finns have not changed for the better. The reason for the Soviet-Finnish War of 1939 was that the Finns provided their bases and airfields to the German fascists, which was dangerous for the USSR. The USSR offered Finland an exchange of territories to increase mutual security, the Finns refused and ended up with war.
The Finns fully shared Nazi ideology and committed a huge number of war crimes during the Second World War.
The well-being of the Finns after the war and until recently was based on beneficial relations with Russia.
Now this Finnish prosperity will not exist. The Russian economy grew by 2% in 2023, while the Finnish economy fell by 0.5%. This trend will continue.

what a propagandistic piece of 5h1t you are @Ben80

You know, mods: I am fine with getting punished for breaking the rules, but rules that ban people for saying the word "5hit" while psychological manipulation and political propaganda are perfectly fine on a video games-related forum make you look childish at best, and downright scumbags at best. You should really change those rules to punish any political discussions and propaganda if you want to be seen as what you're posing as (a video game forum).

And with this I'm out for good! snow this 5h1t eater Ben80 who only spews hatred and tries to reignite the dreams of his beloved (but forever deceased) USSR empire!

I go vomit...

@monere,

guy, I'm a true HoMM lover and modder. For example, here is one of my mods:

http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=47121

As for the possibility of political discussions, this is a matter for the site administration. Perhaps this is now the only site on Heroes that allows such discussions.
And finally, the fact that you don’t like my worldview is your problem.
