That was a process ongoing, since the Jews have been settling in Palestine since the 1880s and they got really going, after 1936, when things in Germany heated up. Britain wasn't really amused, since the Arabs had a problem with ever more Jews coming, and they deported some to Mauritius. The Jews even retaliated against the Brits with assassination attacks.
So after 1945 there was already a Jewish population in Palestine, whereas in Germany there only were CCs and the memory of the holocaust.

Yep, I know. We had Palestine back in the 1880’s, they even tried to buy land from the Sultan. Still, it is not the best zone to pick living without the scriptural aspect.

@artu, is an ideology and works like religion, a caste spirit. Don't look for logic and gains, is about power taken through controlling the narrative. There are two structural aspects : the occidental upper-class (so journalists too) think they/we achieved excellence and high quality life at the expenses of colonization, therefore we must give back everything. That's why the immigration laws are frozen, we are told we owe them our comfort.
The other is controlling the narrative, as with social networks, there are now myriads of alternative sources, some for the worse, other for the best. The best ones focus more on teaching people how to rationalize when having objective data then come with own and solid conclusion, rather than accept already chewed conclusions, as mainstream ones. So the censure will grow exponentially, their survival is at stake as people are getting smart.

As someone who has got access to sources other than state-controlled Russian fake-news outlets I can tell you that Western media which do report about this critically exist.
(You know, a multitude of free media which convey multiple views or report in a blanced way can be a cool thing. If you've got the cognitive capacity to process multiple stances on a topic and if you're actually interested in democratic discourse.)
Not to approve of possible Israeli war crimes but then there is a crucial difference. Israel got attacked. Russia wasn't but simply invaded Ukraine for the sake of gaining some new territories or because of morbid imagination of some old men.
(Or in order to cannon-dump some prisoners or to reduce the youth bulge of some non-Slav ethnicities/to re-russify the federation.)

No, we mean death from old age )). And what you said is Western. I recently read interesting thoughts about why this is so - in the West there is such a cruel attitude towards competitors, but in Russia it is soft. The version is that in Europe there has always been little land - therefore they physically eliminated the competitor, but in Russia there are few people, but there is a lot of land for development - every person is valuable, killing is too wasteful.
